MEET AOIBHEANN, YOUR CREATIVE GUIDE
(Pronounced “Ay-veen!”)
Hi, I’m Aoibheann (she/her).
I’m Irish—as you might have guessed! My first name, Aoibheann, means “radiant beam of light” in Gaelic, and my surname, Greenan—derived from the Gaelic Grianán—means “place of the sun.” I like to think of my full name as a kind of container for illumination, which is exactly how I envision Rodeo Oracle!
These days, I wear three interchangeable hats: Artist, Creative Guide, and Mystic.
ARTIST
My practice spans moving image, performance, installation, sculpture, costume, and drawing. Often presented as multimedia installations or performance events, my projects repurpose familiar capitalist tools of persuasion as instruments for mythmaking and expanded awareness. These works channel threads of ancient wisdom into our post-digital landscape, opening new pathways for collective agency. Strange loops emerge at the thresholds of digital culture, neuroscience, depth psychology, and mysticism—revealing patterns of thought and behavior that echo across time.
I hold a BA in Painting from NCAD, Dublin, an MA in Performance Making from Goldsmiths University, London, and an MA in Artists' Film and Moving Image, also from Goldsmiths. I am currently a resident at Somerset House Studios, London. My work has been presented at South London Gallery, Tate Modern, London, Raven Row, London, The KW Institute, Berlin, IMMA, Dublin, Project Arts Centre, Dublin, Temple Bar Gallery, Dublin, EVA International, Limerick, Bloomberg New Contemporaries, and Film London’s Selected Program. I am a cofounder of the artist collective East London Cable.

CREATIVE GUIDE
The term "creative guide" best encapsulates the work I do with artists, which takes many shapes: creative coach, mentor, teacher, facilitator, cheerleader!
For me, creative practice and creative support are inseparable. Like many guides, I came to this work through personal roadblocks. As someone whose work has always defied neat categories, I fell into the mindtrap of believing academia could “legitimize” me. After completing two master’s degrees, I found myself burned out, overwhelmed, and at a creative standstill. What I gained in accolades and polished “artspeak,” I lost in self-trust and fearlessness. I had to actively unlearn the conditioning that led me to over-intellectualize my work and second-guess my instincts. Though challenging, I’m grateful for this struggle. My ongoing journey of creative liberation is now the foundation from which I help others reconnect with their own authentic flow.
To date, I’ve supported passionate creatives of all stripes — visual artists, curators, filmmakers, musicians, dancers, writers, actors, theater makers, creative producers, drag performers, architects, graphic novelists, comedians, creative entrepreneurs, and more. Despite their diverse backgrounds, my clients share one common thread: a desire to live and create on their own terms.
I hold a Diploma in Transformative Coaching from the Animas Centre for Coaching, a program triple-accredited by the International Coach Federation (USA), the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (Europe), and the Association for Coaching (UK). Additionally, I have completed Continuing Professional Development in Neurodiversity in Coaching through Animas, and received mentoring training with Ceri Hand.
MYSTIC
I am a devoted student of Hellenistic astrology, studying with Austin Coppock, Kelly Surtees, and Chris Brennan. I’ve also taken foundational Human Design courses with Amy Lee and John Cole of Human Design Collective. Tarot has been a longtime personal practice, and I’ve studied formally with Lyndsey Mack of Tarot for the Wild Soul. I have trained in creative channeling with Mary Grisey, and I include Xenia Viray and Britten LaRue as influential mystical mentors.
This deep inner work has long been a private obsession, but I’m increasingly called to share it publicly. I’m currently developing new offerings that weave multiple esoteric modalities together in my own creative way. I’m drawn to these systems because of their power to reveal our unique creative blueprint, and support us in our process of individuation. They’ve been transformative for my own self-understanding, and I always strive to share the tools and insights that have supported my own creative journey.
For those familiar with Human Design, I’m a 6/2 Emotional Manifestor with my Conscious Sun in Gate 41.6- the ‘start codon,’ in the line of the ‘teacher’. My life’s work is to initiate new imaginative possibilities into the collective and lead by example through my embodied experience.
